Theatre for Youth Division
The Theatre for Youth Division hosts two festivals annually at the Georgia Theatre Conference; The Theatre for Youth Festival
and the Middle School Festival.
Theatre for Youth Festival
The Theatre for Youth Festival is a community service provided by the Georgia Theatre Conference to the host city, as a thank you for welcoming GTC into their community.
Theatre for Youth Festival participants registration fees, but no additional fees for individual performers. If you are interested in being a part of the Theatre for Youth Festival, contact Division Vice-Chair Mimi Bair at firstname.lastname@example.org

Middle School Festival
The Middle School One Act Festival was created in 2015 by the Georgia Theatre Conference. This Festival was created to give Middle School theatre directors in the state of Georgia an opportunity to showcase their students, gain feedback for their performances and to have the ability to network with other teachers across the state. This festival is designed to promote theatre among the middle grades and to prepare students for high school one act competition.
$150 per team plus $10 per student or chaperone. (Includes Director’s membership and registration, plus festival fee).
The festival is open to any middle grades school in the state of Georgia. Because some districts rank their middle grades differently than others, a middle school student is considered from 5th grade to 8th grade. Academies, private schools, charter schools and public schools of middle grades/junior high school classification are welcome to register.
Registration will open between 12:01 AM and 11:59 PM on August 30. Click the registration link on the GTC home page to begin your registration process. Your registration as a director of a festival entry will enable you to enter your students. The $150 per team includes the director's membership and registration in addition to the festival fee. Remember, students and chaperones will pay an additional $10 each.
